Jesmonite AC100 is a water-based composite material used to make decorative moulded objects. It is safe to use and contains no solvents or VOC’s.
The standard mixing ratio of Jesmonite AC100 is 2.5:1 (2.5 parts powder+1 part liquid). When mixing, we recommend you to add powder into the liquid.
Jesmonite AC100 has a short working time of 3 to 5 minutes. You may extend your working time by adding a small amount of Jesmonite retarder (for AC100) to the mixture.

You will need a weighing scale to accurately measure the amount of Jesmonite you need to use, which is not included in the kit.

Jesmonite Pigments are intermixable and can be mixed together to create any colour required.
Jesmonite Pigments can be added between 0.1% – 2% (1g-20g) by weight of the total mix (Base and Liquids combined).
Jesmonite Pigments should be added at a maximum of 2% by weight of the total mix, or 20g/kg of the total mix (Base and Liquids combined).
Please take note that with very little amount, Jesmonite pigments will produce a strong and saturated colours.
The Jesmonite Pigments shelf life is 24 months from the date displayed on the packaging.
Jesmonite AC Retarder

Jesmonite material setting times can be extended by the addition of Jesmonite Retarder to increase working time.
Please note that the end user should perform tests in the workshop environment, as extremes of temperature and humidity can effect set times. Addition rates can be found in the individual composite user guides.
